Welcome to Northwoods
Northwoods A-Frame and Tiny Cabins is nestled on forty acres of land near Itasca State Park in northern Minnesota. Northwoods is a place where you can spend time with your people, enjoy activities, and celebrate old and new traditions. Bake pizza on the second night of vacation, try a new board game together, or take a hike and learn about different types of trees. The star gazing is incredible!
A-Frame
The nostalgia of an A-Frame is a unique Minnesotan experience. With the open kitchen and living space, the loft, game closet, and the Makerspace, this cabin has something for everyone. The wall of windows allow natural light to make you feel immersed in nature with modern amentities. 
Tiny Cabins
Two quaint and cozy Tiny Cabins are tucked off the trails at Northwoods. Nord comes from the concept of true north. Wald is translated to woods in German. Slow down and realign with what is important in life. The Tiny Cabins are a true in the woods experience. Nord = North; Wald = Woods. Hence, Northwoods.
Sit on the deck overlooking the woods, roast marshmallows over the campfire, and spend as much time as you can in nature getting refreshed. If you are coming to Northwoods to ‘work from home’, we will have Wi-Fi but we highly encourage you to take as many breaks as you can.
Itasca State Park
With over 32,000 acres, 280 native plant species, 100 lakes, wildlife, and old growth pine, Itasca State Park will not disappoint! The park is rich with history and is home to the Mississippi River headwaters. Lake Itasca is a small glacial lake, approximately 1,200 acres in size. The state park has paved bike trails, public boat access, swimming beach, restaurants, gift shops, and much more. Check out the link for more information!

Whether you are renting out all three cabins for a group or renting a Tiny Cabin by yourself for the weekend, Northwoods is for you. Each cabin has thoughtful details, making them perfect no matter what size your group. The A-Frame and two Tiny Cabins were carefully placed on the 40 acre property to provide you with an immersive experience in nature. The property has a diverse wildlife population, so please be sure to view from a distance if you see some while visiting.
