Meet the Tiny Cabins
At Northwoods, there are two Tiny Cabins tucked into the woods. Each Tiny Cabin has one queen bed and sleeps 2 people. There is electricity, heat, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and many more thoughtful details. You will be able to enjoy all the modern amenities, while being surrounded by nature. There is also an indoor wood burning stove for use in the colder months.
Bathhouse
During your stay at the Tiny Cabins, you will have access to the Bathhouse with your own private bathroom. You will have a private door going into the bathroom where you can lock any belongings during your stay. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with plenty of space for you to spread out.
The Bathhouse has an area designated for outdoor wood storage where you can purchase wood for the onsite fire pits during your visit.
The Local
The Local is located in the Bathhouse and is a shared kitchen space for both Tiny Cabins. There is a gas stove, sink, and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a dining table where you can spread out and play games or prepare a meal.
Just outside of the The Local, there is an outdoor patio with a gas grill, outdoor dining table / chairs, and a shared fire pit. If you decide to rent both Tiny Cabins, this is the perfect place for a group of people to gather.
A short walk to your cabin
When you arrive to stay at Nord + Wald, you will park at the Bathhouse and walk to the Tiny Cabin. Golf carts are available to rent from May to October. The Tiny Cabins do not have running water so the Bathhouse is the place where you can brush, wash, and flush. You will have your own private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower in the Bathhouse. You can drop off your toiletries when you arrive and leave them there for your stay.
Nord is the dark and moody one. The warm color scheme, north facing views, and beautiful scenery will not disappoint! This cabin is tucked further down the trail for that true ‘in the woods’ experience.

Welcome to Wald
Wald is the light and airy one. Sitting on the porch of Wald, you have west facing views of the fire pit area and woods. Wald is pet friendly.

Wald is german for woods and you will be surrounded by them at both Tiny Cabins. We believe that getting into the woods is part of what makes the experience at Northwoods unique.

Fire pit
Each cabin is equipped with its own fire pit, so you can have all the feels of camping with the modern facilities to retreat to at night. The fire pit is the perfect place to share campfire stories, make s’mores, watch the stars, and listen to wildlife.
Trails to the Tiny Cabins
When you arrive at Northwoods, you will park your car at the Bathhouse parking lot. The Tiny are less than a 30 second walk from the Bathhouse, but we also have golf carts available to rent in the warmer months. The trails are lit with pathway lights and are plowed in the winter so you will have access by foot in the colder months.
The Shed
The Shed is a shared space for all guests at Northwoods. When you enter the property, take a left at the Y and it is the building on the left. Inside The Shed are yard games, seasonal items, and extra indoor firewood
